We believe in sharing more than knowledge. The FreedomLab foundation, called MyNGO is using the reach of the internet to facilitate a friends-of-friends network to empower local professionals around the wold in their mission to help others.
In addition to fund-raising and coordinating projects, Myngo has the goal to inform the sponsors about specific themes to increase awareness of and engagement with problems and cultural pearls in the process of creating a sustainable world. The organisation will do so by connecting local (developed world) to local (developing world), by creating a transparent and direct way for sponsors to get involved with certain projects which fit the Myngo-project-profile. Projects vary from building schools, transporting necessities and organizing expositions.
Myngo is using a put-a-face-to-the-problem approach to embody certain themes, since it is the organisations firm believe is that understanding the problem and initiating the goodwill to help, all starts by with the empathy, understanding and above all respect for the people in need and their means and ideas to solve a piece of the puzzle. Activities Myngo therefor organizes are fund-raising by the means of subscriptions, sponsorships and donations, facilitating a meetingpoint for the members and the projects to share information and the management of projects with local entities and people. In short, MyNGO is your personal non-governmental organisation.
